LIBERTY, Mo. – The Raven Track & Field program competed at the annual Darrel Gourley Inviational on Saturday hosted by William Jewell College.
The Raven Women took fifth place while the Raven Men took 10th place.
The meet was highlighted by two record-breaking efforts for the Raven Women.
Clare Bingaman ran a 12.52 in the 100 meter dash and broke the previous record in the event held since 2011 by Hannah Francescon.
Clare was also part of the women's 4x400 meter relay team who ran the event in a time of 4:03.70 to break an outdoor event record that was set in 2009. She was joined on the record-breaking team by Cassie Dycus, Danica Shimkus and Nora Bingaman. The time was good for a fourth-place finish in the finals.
