KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Raven Men's Basketball team saw the most positive movement in the fifth edition of the NAIA Div. I Men's Basketball Top 25 Coaches' Poll on Tuesday.
Benedictine (29-6) moved up to a tie for No. 14 in this week's poll as they earned 135 points.
The poll, which moved to every two weeks this season, listed the Ravens at No. 24 in their fourth edition back on Jan. 31. The Ravens have won 10 straight headed into their final four games of the regular season, beginning on Thursday night.
Three teams from the Heart appeared in this week's poll as William Penn University remained at No. 2 while Grand View University, the Ravens Thursday night opponent, dropped from No. 15 to No. 24 this week with 77 points. In addition to their two Heart opponents, a Raven non-conference opponent also returned to the poll this week as Park University moved up to No. 23, seven points ahead of Grand View.
Benedictine travels to Des Moines, Iowa, Thursday for a 7:30 p.m. game with Grand View before remaining on the road for a 2 p.m. game Saturday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, against Mount Mercy University.
The Ravens wrap up their regular-season home schedule on Wednesday, Feb. 22, with a 7:30 p.m. game with William Penn.
