CANTON, Mo. – The Raven Women's Basketball team took the road on Saturday looking to wrap up the regular season and grab some momentum into next week's Heart Postseason Tournament.
They did just that as Benedictine (23-7, 22-4 Heart) earned a 64-55 win over Culver-Stockton College (10-20, 8-18 Heart).

As the third quarter got underway, the two teams traded leads before Benedictine took control. The Ravens limited the Wildcats to just eight third-quarter points to take a 44-39 lead into the final 10 minutes of play and the added a 20-point fourth quarter to help seal the nine-point win.
The Ravens finished the game at 31.9 percent from the field while going 12 of 17 at the free throw line. The also finished with an 18-0 advantage in points off turnovers as defensively they forced Culver-Stockton into 19 turnovers while committing just six of their own.
As the No. 2 seed in the Heart Postseason Tournament, the Ravens will have to wait until Monday night to find out who they will host at 7 p.m. Wednesday as Missouri Valley College and Evangel University play an opening-round game to advance to the Quarterfinals on Wednesday.
