KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The 10 seeds for the 2017 Heart of America Athletic Conference Postseason Tournament have been set with action set to get underway on Monday.
Monday's Opening Round games will feature the seven through 10 seeds playing each other to advance to Wednesday night's Quarterfinal round.
The Raven Women earned the No. 2 seed after wrapping up the regular season on Saturday with a win over Culver-Stockton College. They will host a Quarterfinal game at 7 p.m. on Wednesday against the winner of No. 7 Evangel vs. No. 10 Missouri Valley College.
Ticket prices for the Heart Postseason $6 for general admission for adults, $2 for students 17 and under while Benedictine students will be admitted for free with a valid ID presented at the student entrance located at the end of the hallway leading to the Ralph Nolan Gymnasium.
Baker University earned the top seed in the tournament and the first automatic berth from the Heart into the 2017 NAIA Div. I Women's Basketball Tournament held this year in Billings, Mont. The second automatic berth to the NAIA Tournament will be awarded to the Postseason Tournament Champion. In the event that is Baker, Benedictine would earn the second automatic berth after finishing the year in second place.
Central Methodist University earned the No. 3 seed and will host Clarke University while MNU earned the No. 4 seed and will host William Penn University on Wednesday.
The Semifinal round is scheduled for Friday and will take place on the campus of the higher seeded teams in the two game match ups. A win on Wednesday would allow the Ravens to host a game on Friday as well with that game also starting at 7 p.m.

All games played at Benedictine will be streamed live on the Benedictine Raven Sports Network. The Heart Women's Basketball Championship game on Monday, March 7, will be produced by Niles Media again this year and broadcast on ESPN3, KSMO in Kansas City and Mediacom throughout their coverage area.
