The Raven Women's Lacrosse team set a new season high for goals on Saturday as they remained undefeated in conference play.
Benedictine (7-2, 3-0 KCAC) earned a 21-9 win over Clarke University (3-3, 2-2 Heart) as they set a new single-game high passing their season-opening 20-goal mark against Truett-McConnell.
Mary McEnerney factored in on the Ravens first three goals of the game, setting a tone for the Raven attacker. After assisting on the first goal of the game scored by Caitlyn Chickey, she scored two straight to push Benedictine in front 3-0.
McEnerney finished the day with seven goals and three assists as she factored in on nearly half of Benedictine's scoring opportunities.
Benedictine finished with a 40-16 advantage in shots as they forced Clarke into 19 turnovers while causing eight of those turnovers. Anna Tust and Brown finished with two caused turnovers each to help lead the Ravens defensive effort.
The Ravens take to the road for their next two games. They take on Johnson & Wales University in KCAC action on Friday before taking on the University of Dallas on Saturday. They close out their regular season at home on April 8 with a 1 p.m. game against Midland University.
