WICHITA – With just one game remaining in the regular season, the Raven Women's Lacrosse team once again was recognized by the KCAC.
The Ravens went 2-0 on the week with a KCAC win over Johnson & Wales (Colo.) University on March 30 before closing out the week with another win in Denver over NCAA Div. III University of Dallas.
Darrow scored two goals in the 20-0 win over Johnson & Wales and then followed that up with a seven-goal, two-assist effort in the Ravens 21-8 win over Dallas. She now has 20 goals and five assists for the Ravens in nine games so far this season.
St. Louis finished the week with a .808 save percentage as she played the first half of the Ravens shutout over Johnson & Wales. She followed that up with six saves in the win over over Denver to finished the week with a total of five saves. She now has a .400 save percentage on the year with 42 saves in over 557 minutes in goal for the Ravens.
The KCAC honor was the first of the season for Darrow while it marked the third honor of the year for St. Louis.
Benedictine hosts KCAC opponents Midland University at Noon on Saturday for a chance to earn the outright KCAC Championship. It is also Senior Day for the Ravens.
