WICHITA – The second All-KCAC Team was released prior to the start of the KCAC Tournament and the Raven Men's Lacrosse team placed three on the second team.
Tomc was named a second-team attacker. He was the Ravens second-leading scorer this season as he finished the regular season with 16 goals. He added a 17th goal during the KCAC Tournament to go along with on assists to finish the year with 18 points.
Gerken was named a second-team defensive player. He finished the year with 37 ground balls and nine caused turnovers. The selection for Gerken was his second in two years after he was named as second-team defender in 2016 as well.
Santini was named a second-team long stick midfielder. He finished the year with 57 grounds balls, 19 caused turnovers. He scored a goal with two assists to finish with three points. In addition, he went 18 of 35 on face offs this year to finish at a .514 face off percentage.
The Ravens finished the season at 5-7 overall and qualified for the 2017 KCAC Postseason Tournament as the No. 4 seed as they earned their first postseason bid in the two-year history of the program.
