KANSAS CITY, Mo. – With the conclusion of the 2017 Heart Softball Championship on Saturday in St. Joseph, Mo., the Heart Office released the annual All-Conference Softball Team on Monday with three members of the Raven Softball team earning a spot on the team.
Profitt led the Ravens in batting this season with a .343 average over 46 games in center field. She recorded 47 hits, 10 doubles, one triple and two home runs with 34 RBIs.
Parker was fourth on the team in batting with a .322 average over 46 games at catcher. She recorded 39 hits with nine doubles, five home runs and a team high 35 RBIs. In addition at the plate, Parker was hit 14 times by opposing pitchers to tie the program record for single-season hit by pitch.
Burris was third on the team in batting with a .338 average over 46 games in left field. She recorded a team-high 49 hits with three doubles, one triple and seven RBIs. She stole 36 bases in 40 attempts, marking the second-most stolen bases in a single season in program history.
Benedictine finished the year at 21-25 and qualified for the Heart Championship for the fourth straight season under head coach Dana Goss.
