The No. 4-ranked Raven Women's Soccer team returned home on Saturday night after a mid-week road win to take on Missouri Baptist University.
Benedictine (3-0) used two goals in each half to earn a 4-0 win over Missouri Baptist (2-1) and remain undefeated on the year.
The win comes against their third straight opponent from the American Midwest Conference, which used to share NAIA Region V with the Heart before the NAIA went away from the regional format for postseason play.
It took the Ravens 11 minutes to score their second goal of the match when Anna Romano was able to strike quickly after a failed clear by the Spartans defense.
Ambuul added her second goal of the match during the 86th minute on another quick strike and then Rosie McShane added her first goal of the season off an assist by Olivia Meyers. With her goal, McShane has now tallied 101 career points in a Raven uniform to become just the third player to pass 100 career points in program history.
Ellen Loughman earned the win, playing just over 85 minutes in goal. She finished with three saves.
Benedictine hits the road for their next two matches. They will take on No. 17 Hastings College on Friday at 6 p.m. and they take on University of Jamestown in Hastings on Saturday at 5 p.m.
