KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After narrowly missing an upset bid in the NAIA Game of the Week on Saturday, the Raven Football team dropped in this week's NAIA Top Coaches' Poll when the Association released the third poll of the regular season.
Benedictine (4-1) earned 137 points this week to drop from No. 14 to No. 18.
Baker remained at No. 2 as the top-ranked member of the Heart of America Athletic Conference. Grand View University moved up one spot to No. 7 this week with 258 points while Peru State College moved into the rankings to No. 23 after knocking off then-ranked No. 22 MNU on Saturday.
Heading into week six of the season, the Ravens are ranking in the top 10 in 11 categories:

Individually, the Ravens have two of the top scorers in the NAIA. Marquis Stewart ranks second in total scoring (TDs) with 50 points and is ranked third in total scoring. Aaron Jackson ranks third in total scoring (TDs) with 48 and is also fourth in total scoring. Ejay Johnson is ranked fourth in total rushing (571) while Jackson ranks fifth in receptions yards (571) and seventh in total receptions (32). Shaefer Schuetz is seventh in pass efficiency (178.2) while Jackson ranks seventh in all-purpose yards (683).
The Ravens hit the road on Saturday for an 11 a.m. game against Central Methodist University as the Ravens and Eagles play in the Week 6 Heart Football Game of the Week. Saturday's game will be streamed on ESPN3 and broadcast in the Kansas City market on KSMO.
