DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Raven Women's Soccer team secured their eighth win of the season and third conference win on Saturday with a 4-0 shutout over Clarke University on the road.
Benedictine (8-1-1, 3-1-1 Heart) used a 33-shot effort to earn the win over Clarke (4-5-1, 1-3 Heart), who managed just three shots over the 90-minute match.
Benedictine added three goals in the second half as they pulled away from Clarke.
Anna Romano scored an unassited goal during the 54th minute before Ambuul assisted on a Sydney Routh goal during the 79th minute. Natalie Duque capped off the Ravens scoring effort with an unassisted goal during the 82nd minute.
Ambuul and Routh finished with seven shots each while Romano added six as the Ravens outshot the Pride 33-3.
Benedictine remains on the road Wednesday with a trip to Baldwin City to take on Baker University at 5 p.m.
