KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For her efforts during the Ravens 3-0 week, outside hitter Fleur Wesselink has been named the Heart Volleyball Attacker of the Week.
Benedictine earned wins over Avila University, Clarke University and Mount Mercy University all by sweep and the Ravens offensive efforts where anchored by the attack of Wesselink.
Wesselink finished the week with 43 kills at a .279 hitting percentage. She now has 236 kills on the season while hitting .288.
She is currently tied for fifth in the Heart in attacking percentage, seventh in the Heart in kills and second in the Heart in kills per game at 3.81.
The weekly honor is the second of the season for Wesselink as she picked up Attacker of the Week honors on Aug. 28.
The Ravens continue their six-match home stand on Tuesday as they host Central Methodist University at 7 p.m. inside the Ralph Nolan Gymnasium. Tuesday night's match will be streamed live on BRSNtv.
