Tomc is a junior midfielder from Kansas City, Mo., This is second appointment as captain and is an anchor for the Ravens offense. In his sophomore season for the Ravens, he scored 17 goals and recorded one assist. He is a Mechanical Engineering major.
Santini, a sophomore longstick midfielder from Chula Vista, Calif., was a second-team All-KCAC selection as a freshman last year. He played in all 12 games for the Ravens last season, recording 57 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers. He also finished the season with a .514 face-off percentage, winning 18 of 25 face-offs. He is also a Mechanical Engineering major.
Novacek, a junior close defender from Omaha, Neb., played in 11 games last season. According to Coach Blaise, he is stepping to anchor the defense this year. As a sophomore, he recorded 34 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers. He is a double major in Political Science and Biology.
Heinser, a junior midfielder from Groton, Mass., played in all 12 games for the Ravens as a sophomore. He scored 10 goals with three assists and recorded a .340 face-off average as he won 18 of 53 face-offs.
The team will play a four-game fall scrimmage schedule as they travel to Kansas City, Mo., to take on Rockhurst University on Oct. 7 before taking on the Mizzou Club Lacrosse team, Columbia College and Missouri Valley College on Oct. 28.
